This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office per week) that can be done from Brisbane (preferred), Melbourne or Sydney.
What you'll do:

- Turn complex data problems into practical solutions, working closely with business leaders to support tactical and strategic initiatives that drive growth.
- Act as the ultimate translator, converting technical data engineering challenges and analytics into plain, actionable language for brokers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with Analytics Engineers to ensure the availability and accuracy of data, guaranteeing teams can make informed decisions based on real data.
- Demonstrate a focus on continual self improvement across both the technical and business aspects of delivering high quality data enrichment solutions.
- Provide senior level support to data quality and data validation through deep dive analysis, driving continuous improvements to data quality procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Proven advanced experience with Cloud-based Technologies and Databases, with GCP experience highly advantageous. Strong experience in SQL.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to take complex, technical problems and translate them into simple, commercial solutions for non technical audiences.
- Confidence in collecting, collating and interpreting business requirements in order to produce quality outcomes.
- Experience working with product managers, platform owners and different stakeholders to gather data requirements and provide solutions.
- Strong data and technical background demonstrating innovation, initiative and a passion for finding the "so what" in the data.
- Proven hands-on experience using ThoughtSpot, alongside proficiency in Tableau software.
- Minimum bachelor's degree qualification in finance, technology, or a quantitative discipline.
